"The road to launching Emergence Healthcare Group started years ago when I was a patient with injuries from an accident that needed extensive medical care. I have clear memories of dedicated doctors who were late to see me or unavailable because they had to handle endless administrative responsibilities that came with being a doctor.
I realized then that if I could somehow free doctors from the business of medicine, patients would no longer experience what I did. That’s why I say that this career chose me. I went off to graduate school to study business and healthcare administration to focus on the business side of medicine to one day relieve doctors of that stress. Fast forward to today — I’m so excited we’ve found a better way to help doctors focus on their patients and deliver healthy outcomes."
